Mr.Attaf holds talks with Tunisian counterpart in New York

Continuing his activities on the sidelines of his participation in the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad of the Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti. The two ministers discussed the state of the distinguished brotherly relations uniting Algeria and Tunisia, as well as ways to strengthen them and elevate them to broader horizons, in accordance with the high directives of the leaders of the two brotherly countries.

In this framework, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the path of strengthening relations of cooperation and solidarity between Algeria and Tunisia, and to pursuing efforts aimed at implementing various bilateral cooperation programs and projects, reflecting the depth and strength of the historical ties uniting the two countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on key current issues at the regional and international levels, particularly developments in Libya and the Arab region, emphasizing the importance of continued coordination and consultation on various files and issues of common interest.
