Mr. Magramane Presents Algeria’s Vision at the High-Level Segment of the UN Economic and Social Council in New York

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lounès Magramane, participated today in New York in the High-level Segment of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, where he presented Algeria’s vision on the theme “The Road to 2030.”
In this context, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs outlined Algeria’s experience, shaped by the directives of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and based on the adoption of balanced public policies grounded in social justice. These policies have contributed to improving several indicators, including an increase in the level of social protection coverage.
Mr. Magramane also addressed the factors necessary for the success of the 2027 Sustainable Development Goals Summit, particularly closing the financing gap, reforming international financial institutions, narrowing the digital divide, facilitating technology transfer, and strengthening multilateral cooperation in line with national priorities.
