Mr. Attaf, Turkish counterpart hold talks in Jordan

On the sidelines of the ministerial meeting "in support of Jerusalem and its holy sites" by the Arab Ministerial Committee tasked with international action to confront Israeli policies and illegal measures in the occupied city of Jerusalem, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held talks this morning with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mr. Hakan Fidan.

This meeting served as an important opportunity to discuss the state of bilateral relations between Algeria and Turkey, during which agreement was reached to hold meetings for bilateral cooperation mechanisms in the coming period, particularly the Joint Planning Committee and the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

Views and analyses were also exchanged regarding a number of regional and international issues of common concern, notably the recent developments in the Sahara-Sahel region and the Middle East.
