Mr. Attaf Receives the Minister of International Cooperation of the Republic of the Congo

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received this evening at the Ministry’s headquarters the Minister of International Cooperation and Promotion of Public-Private Partnership of the Republic of the Congo, Mr. Denis Christel Sassou Nguesso, who is on a working visit to Algeria.

On this occasion, the two sides reviewed the state of Algerian–Congolese relations and ways to elevate them to higher levels, particularly in priority sectors such as energy, industry, the pharmaceutical industry, mining, higher education and vocational training. They also discussed preparations for convening the eighth session of the Algerian–Congolese Joint Commission.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views and perspectives on a number of international and regional issues of common interest.
