Mr. Attaf participates in the High-Level Dialogue marking the 5th anniversary of the launch of the Global Development Initiative

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, participated at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in the High-Level Dialogue held on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the launch of the Global Development Initiative (GDI), themed "Together for a New Chapter in Sustainable Development," chaired by the Vice President of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Han Zheng.

This meeting—which witnessed the participation of the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ms. Amina J. Mohammed, along with high-level representatives of Member States and international organizations—provided an opportunity to review the achievements realized within the framework of this initiative and discuss ways to enhance cooperation and partnerships to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

In the intervention he delivered in this context, Mr. Ahmed Attaf reiterated Algeria's support for the Global Development Initiative, commending its contribution to supporting the efforts of developing countries in addressing widening global development gaps.
