Mr. Attaf participates in the consultative meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers

Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, participated in the consultative meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers, where he highlighted the necessity of activating joint Arab action in an international context marked by selectivity in applying international legitimacy resolutions, and in which countries of the region are paying the price for the absence of political solutions.

The Minister of State emphasized the importance of working to restore the Palestinian cause to the forefront of the international agenda, ensuring it is not reduced to merely its humanitarian dimension, and countering actions aimed at undermining the viability of establishing a Palestinian state in accordance with international legitimacy.

Mr. Ahmed Attaf also reiterated Algeria's rejection of transforming the Arab region into an arena for proxy wars, particularly in light of the escalation in the Arabian Gulf region. He emphasized the urgent necessity of addressing the crises engulfing Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, and Libya, while safeguarding their unity, supporting national political solutions, and rejecting foreign interference in their internal affairs.
