Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in New York

Continuing his activities on the margins of his participation in the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar. The meeting provided an opportunity for an in-depth discussion on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, particularly regarding investment, economic cooperation, commercial exchange, higher education, and cultural exchanges.

The two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues, particularly those related to the situation in the Middle East. They stressed the importance of continuing dialogue and diplomatic efforts to address current challenges, praising the level of ongoing coordination between the two countries within multilateral frameworks, foremost among which is the United Nations.
