Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with Mali’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in New York

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Mali, Mr. Abdoulaye Diop, on the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

On this occasion, the two ministers commended the current positive dynamics characterizing relations between Algeria and Mali, which reflect the strong commitment of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the President of the Transition, Head of State of the Republic of Mali, General Assimi Goïta, to rectify the trajectory of bilateral relations and enhance understanding and mutual trust, in a manner that reflects the depth of the fraternal ties uniting the two brotherly countries and peoples.

The two sides agreed on the necessity of transitioning, in the upcoming phase, toward drafting a roadmap defining cooperation priorities across various fields, as well as the measures to be taken in this regard.
