Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with Lesotho’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations in New York

On the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane (Limpho Tau). Together, they exchanged views on the state of bilateral relations and the ways and means to strengthen them and elevate the level of cooperation between Algeria and the Kingdom of Lesotho across various fields of mutual interest.

The Western Sahara issue was also addressed, during which the two ministers reaffirmed their commitment to the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination, in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter and relevant UN resolutions.
