Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs

Continuing his intensive activities on the margins of his participation in the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm the depth of the fraternal ties uniting Algeria and Kuwait and their mutual keenness to maintain the tradition of consultation and coordination on various issues of common concern, reflecting the spirit of traditional solidarity that binds the two countries.

In this context, the two ministers explored prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of investment, food security, and telecommunications. Mr. Ahmed Attaf reviewed the opportunities presented by the ambitious programs launched by Algeria to develop desert agriculture, inviting Kuwaiti partners to explore investment opportunities in this promising sector.

Furthermore, both sides agreed to draft a roadmap for shared priorities and to organize a ministerial meeting aimed at defining practical steps to elevate the bilateral partnership to the highest levels.
