Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with His Swedish Counterpart in New York

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, met today in New York with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Ms. Maria Malmer Stenergard. The two ministers discussed the current state of economic cooperation between the two countries and the prospects for elevating it to broader horizons, particularly regarding investment in the industrial sector.

The two sides also exchanged views on a number of political and security issues on the regional and international agendas, particularly recent developments in the Sahel region.
