Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with His Cameroonian Counterpart in New York

Continuing his activities on the sidelines of his participation in the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, held talks with his Cameroonian counterpart, Mr. Lejeune Mbella Mbella. The discussions addressed various areas of bilateral cooperation and effective ways to give new impetus to and strengthen bilateral relations across diverse fields of mutual interest, particularly in light of the ongoing preparations to convene the Algerian-Cameroonian Joint Commission.

The two sides agreed to organize this important bilateral fixture at the earliest opportunity, enabling officials and economic actors from both countries to identify priority sectors—particularly health, transport, agriculture, artificial intelligence, commercial trade, and capacity building—as well as to advance cooperation and partnership projects to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
