Mr. Attaf holds talks with Arab League Secretary-General in Jordan

On the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting "to Support Jerusalem and Its Sanctities" held by the Arab Ministerial Committee tasked with international action to confront illegal Israeli policies and measures in the occupied city of Jerusalem, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held talks this morning with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Nabil Fahmy.

On this occasion, the Secretary-General reviewed the priorities requiring his attention and the action plan he intends to present to member states to reactivate the performance of the joint Arab action system, enabling it to confront current challenges.

For his part, the Minister of State reaffirmed Algeria's support for the Secretary-General's efforts to ensure his success in carrying out the duties entrusted to him in service of Arab interests and causes, emphasizing the importance of the League of Arab States as the most appropriate framework for coordinating Arab cooperation.
