Mr. Attaf holds a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart

Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Badr Abdelatty.

The call provided an opportunity to continue consultations and coordination between the two ministers on a range of bilateral issues, as well as international and regional matters.

In this regard, both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining the positive momentum in the partnership relations between Algeria and Egypt, within the framework of efforts aimed at implementing the outcomes of the 9th Session of the Joint High Commission, particularly in economic fields.

On the multilateral level, the two ministers addressed current developments in the Arab and African regions, particularly updates regarding the Palestinian issue and developments in the Gulf region, Sudan, Libya, Sahel and the Sahara.
