In his address at the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, Mr. Magramane highlighted Algeria's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in line with the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

As part of his participation in the annual session of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lounès Magramane, delivered a statement in which he highlighted the significant progress made by Algeria towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in accordance with the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
Mr. Magramane focused on Algeria’s most important achievements in this regard under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, particularly in the areas of economic diversification beyond the hydrocarbon sector, the promotion of digitalization and e-governance, the inclusion of young people and women, the acceleration of the energy transition, and the strengthening of water security—areas that are central to the proceedings of this session.
The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also emphasized the importance of constructive international partnerships, addressing the root causes of crises, ensuring equitable development opportunities, and accelerating reform of the international financial architecture, with a view to securing adequate and sustainable financing for developing countries.
