STATEMENT

Algeria strongly condemns and denounces the targeting of the holy city of Mecca in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a hostile drone. It considers this a highly dangerous act of aggression against the sanctities of Muslims worldwide, a shameful provocation of their sentiments, and a blatant violation of the sanctity of the Sacred House of God.

In the face of these despicable attacks, Algeria once again emphasizes its full solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in protecting the sanctities of Muslims and all of the Kingdom's territories. It reaffirms its support for all measures the Kingdom deems appropriate to ensure its security and stability and to preserve its national sovereignty.

Furthermore, Algeria renews its call for an immediate halt to these attacks and all forms of escalation and provocation in the region, which only serve to further complicate and inflame the situation, risking dangerous and unpredictable consequences.
