Mr Attaf receives the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received today at the Ministry’s headquarters the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Yalchin Rafiyev, who is on an official visit to Algeria.

This visit falls within the framework of the second session of political consultations between the two countries, which was co-chaired by the Azerbaijani Deputy Minister and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lounès Magramane.

During today's meeting, the outcomes of the political consultations between the two sides were reviewed, and both parties reaffirmed their desire to implement the agreed-upon roadmap to further energize Algerian–Azerbaijani relations. They also reiterated their commitment to maintaining traditions of political consultation and mutual coordination within various international and regional organizations of shared affiliation.
