Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria

On the second day of his participation in the high-level segment of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Velislava Petrova-Tchamova. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the trajectory of bilateral relations and fields of cooperation between Algeria and Bulgaria, and to examine ways to promote and diversify them in service of the mutual interests of both countries.

The two sides also devoted a portion of these talks to reviewing the state of cooperation between Algeria and the European Union, and exchanging views on the means to develop it and ensure the balanced implementation of the Association Agreement between the two parties, in a manner that preserves the interests of each side.
