The Ambassador Receives International Referee Allal Sahnoune and Commends His Honorable Participation in the Zagreb Open 2025

H.E. the Ambassador of Algeria to Croatia, Nakhla KECHACHA, received Algerian international kickboxing referee Allal Sahnoune during a courtesy visit to the Embassy, following his participation as a judge in the Zagreb Open 2025 tournament, held in the city of Varaždin from May 2 to 4, 2025.

During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed pride in the presence of Algerian talents on the international sports stage, praising the high level of professionalism demonstrated by Mr. Sahnoune at this major event. Both sides discussed the current state of kickboxing in Algeria and explored prospects for enhancing the presence of Algerian professionals in global competitions. They also emphasized the role of sports diplomacy in promoting Algeria’s image and standing worldwide.
