Important Notice – Visa Facilitation for IATF 2025 Participants

As part of the preparations for the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), to be held in Algiers from September 4 to 10, 2025, the Embassy of Algeria in Croatia informs all participants that special procedures have been established to facilitate the issuance of entry visas to Algeria.

All concerned individuals are invited to carefully read the following instructions and prepare their visa files accordingly.

I - CONSULAR VISA

Submission of Applications:

Concerned parties may contact Algerian embassies and consulates in their place of residence to submit their visa applications.

Applications may be submitted individually or collectively through local points designated by the AFREXIMBANK.

Composition of the Application:

  • Completed and signed visa application form;

  • Passport with at least 6 months validity;

  • Photocopy of passport pages containing personal information;

  • Document attesting validation of registration on the IATF 2025 platform;

  • Two recent passport-size photos;

  • Payment of visa fees;

  • Hotel reservation**;

  • Round-trip flight reservation**.

**In the absence of these, applicants may submit their application and must imperatively provide these two documents when collecting the visas.

Holders of diplomatic, service, and official passports from regional and international organizations are subject to the usual procedures for visa applications for entry into national territory. Exemption depends on the existence of a visa waiver agreement for holders of these types of travel documents.

II - VISAS ON ARRIVAL

For duly justified exceptional cases, visas on arrival will be issued.

Conditions for Issuance:

Any foreigner arriving on national territory must present themselves to the competent authorities responsible for border control, with a valid travel document accompanied by a consular visa.

However, in urgent cases, the Border Police may issue, exceptionally, a regularization visa to the foreigner presenting themselves at border posts without a visa.

This measure applies to foreign nationals whose country of residence has no Algerian diplomatic or consular representation.

Composition of the Application:

  1. Regularization visa application form;

  2. Valid passport (more than 6 months);

  3. Copy of passport pages showing personal information;

  4. Documents proving application for entry into Algerian territory (document confirming validation of registration on the IATF 2025 platform);

  5. Payment of visa fees as set out in Article 48 of the 2025 Finance Law;

  6. Proof of accommodation in national territory (hotel reservation);

  7. Return ticket.

To allow them to board a flight to an Algerian airport, the participant concerned by the visa on arrival must have in their possession a boarding clearance certificate issued by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
