Mr. Chaib takes part in APRM Steering Committee meeting

Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of National Community Abroad, Mr. Sofiane Chaib, participated today, Thursday, September 10, 2026, via videoconference, in a meeting of the Steering Committee of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM).

The agenda for the meeting was dedicated to consultations on designating the countries representing the North Africa region on the Steering Committee of National Focal Points of the APRM.

The meeting resulted in the renewal of Algeria's membership on the Committee, as part of the Troika presidency of the APRM Forum of Heads of State and Government, for the 2026–2028 term.
