Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in New York

Continuing his activities on the margins of his participation in the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow. The two ministers discussed the state of bilateral relations and their future prospects, reflecting the shared commitment of both countries to elevate and expand cooperation in service of their mutual interests.

Furthermore, both parties emphasized the importance of stepping up communication and coordination to inject fresh momentum into bilateral relations—particularly in economic cooperation, investment, and commercial exchange—especially given the active presence of Thai companies in Algeria, notably within the energy sector.
