Mr. Attaf holds talks with Egyptian counterpart in Jordan

On the sidelines of his participation in the ministerial meeting "in support of Jerusalem and its holy sites" by the Arab Ministerial Committee tasked with international action to confront Israeli policies and illegal measures in the occupied city of Jerusalem, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held discussions this morning with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates, Mr. Badr Abdelatty.

The two ministers praised the distinguished momentum characterizing Algerian-Egyptian relations, driven by the political will of the leaders of both countries to elevate bilateral cooperation to higher levels. In this regard, the two sides agreed to convene the follow-up committee tasked with evaluating and monitoring the implementation of the outcomes of the 9th session of the Algerian-Egyptian Joint Grand Committee, ensuring thorough preparation for the upcoming session, and working to enhance cooperation across various fields, particularly industry, agriculture, and energy.

The ministers also exchanged views and analyses regarding a number of current regional and international issues, notably the latest developments in the Middle East.
