Mr. Attaf holds meeting with Pakistani counterpart in Amman

On the sidelines of his participation in the ministerial meeting "in support of Jerusalem and its holy sites" by the Arab Ministerial Committee tasked with international action to confront Israeli policies and illegal measures in the occupied city of Jerusalem, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held a bilateral meeting this morning with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

During this meeting, the two ministers reviewed the state of Algerian-Pakistani relations and agreed to double efforts to enhance them in all fields by activating bilateral cooperation frameworks as soon as possible.

On the international and regional fronts, the two sides discussed various current issues of common concern, notably the Palestinian cause and the prevailing situation in the Gaza Strip, in addition to Pakistan's mediation efforts to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East.
